RiteMade Paper Converters, Inc. was founded in 1952 by a group of private investors with an extensive history in the paper industry. Between 1995 and 1997, employees purchased ownership of the company. RiteMade is now proud to be An Iconex Company.
The original plant opened in the river bottom area of Kansas City, Missouri and would now occupy just one corner of any of the company’s three manufacturing facilities. Manufacturing capabilities have expanded fifty-fold. Starting with one grade of adding machine paper and single ply Teletype rolls, the RiteMade line now includes more than 1000 stock and custom roll paper products designed for all types of businesses.
The first plant consisted of three slitter/rewinders of dubious origin. Today the company operates four wide-web, high-speed flexo-printers and 17 modern slitters in three plants occupying more than 200,000 square feet. Over the past decade RiteMade has invested over $10,000,000 in capital investments. As a result, RiteMade now has the most modern and efficient manufacturing capability in the industry.
RiteMade’s product lines are comprised of a broad spectrum of plain and printed, stock and custom products for financial institution equipment, cash registers, point of sale systems, Kiosk applications and other printers used in information processing equipment. Our manufacturing facilities are located in Kansas City, Kansas, Ashland, Virginia and Reno, Nevada.
RiteMade employs the largest and most qualified staff of full-time field representatives in the industry. With eight sales managers covering all fifty states, RiteMade offers customers of all types and size true personal service unsurpassed by any other converter. The size and experience of our sales force, combined with a dedicated customer support staff, guarantees RiteMade customers receive a level of service and support, from the receipt of their order through delivery, that is unmatched.
Our financial strength has been and continues to be a most valuable asset in maintaining sound relationships with key paper resources and other vendors. RiteMade is extremely proud that these long-standing and mutually beneficial relationships have enabled it to serve existing customers without delay during the most difficult times and to expand sales prudently during tight paper markets.
The final key to the long history of RiteMade’s success can be found in its commitment to quality and service. Although RiteMade recognizes the importance of competitive pricing, this alone cannot account for the support received for over a half century from more than 1,000 office products dealers and distributors and large regional or national accounts. We are proud to count among our customers outstanding companies such as Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Kmart, Safeway Stores, In-N-Out Burger, The Gap, Staples and Hallmark Cards to name a few. In all, 98% of orders ship complete and on time which explains why these and so many other companies, large and small, have found RiteMade the right choice for roll business papers since 1952!
